The Website is operated from the United States and the Services are only offered to users based in the United States. You should not visit or use the Website if you are located outside of the United States, as this is not intended for your use and may not be suitable for your use.

Children Under the Age of 13

You may contribute to a bill posted to the Website (referred to as a “Fehr”) without creating an account to use our Services, but we will still need to collect other required information for compliance purposes in order to process your contribution.

Information We Collect Automatically

As you navigate through and interact with our Website, we may use automatic data collection technologies to collect certain information about your devices, browsing actions, and patterns, as described above. The information we collect automatically is statistical data and does not include  Personal Information, but we may maintain it for any of the reasons listed in HOW WE USE YOUR INFORMATION.

We may also disclose your Personal Information to third parties for the purpose of establishing, exercising, or defending our legal rights, including but not limited to:

  • Our legal counsel and/or prospective legal counsel; and/or

If we have sent you a promotional email, you may use the unsubscribe option in the footer of the email. This opt out does not apply to information provided to support@givefehr.com as a result of a Fehr contribution or other transactions where a confirmation or similar email may be sent to you.
  • INTEREST-BASED ADVERTISING: We do not control third parties’ collection or use of your information to serve interest-based advertising. However, these third parties may provide you with ways to choose not to have your information collected or used in this way. You can opt out of receiving targeted ads from members of the Network Advertising Initiative (“NAI”) on the NAI’s website.

ACCESSING AND CORRECTING YOUR INFORMATION

If you believe that any information we hold about you is inaccurate, out of date, incomplete, irrelevant or misleading, you can review and change your Personal Information by logging into your account profile on the Website and navigating to the appropriate settings page or sending us an email at  support@givefehr.com to request access to, correct, or delete any Personal Information that you have provided to us. We cannot delete some of your Personal Information except by also deleting your user account. We may not accommodate a request to change information if we believe the change would violate any law or regulatory requirement, result in fraud, or cause the information to be incorrect.

DATA SECURITY

We take precautions, but cannot provide guarantees. We do our best to secure your data through the programming of our services and the use of security measures that we deem appropriate for the type of data provided. However, we cannot completely guarantee that no part of our system or site will ever fail or be compromised. FOR CALIFORNIA VISITORS ONLY: YOUR CALIFORNIA PRIVACY RIGHTS

If you are a California resident, you have the right to request information from us regarding the manner in which we share certain categories of your Personal Information with third parties for their own direct marketing uses once per calendar year.

California’s “Shine the Light” Act provides that you have the right to submit a request to us at our email address in order to receive information on the categories of customer information that we shared and the names and addresses of those businesses with which we shared customer information for the immediately prior calendar year.

When you exercise these rights and submit a request to us, we will verify your identity by asking you to log in to your account if you have one with us. Or if you do not, we may ask for your email address and require additional verification. We also may use a third party verification provider to verify your identity.

Once your identity has been verified, we will provide the requested information to you. Please be aware that not all information sharing is covered by the Shine the Light requirements, and only information on covered sharing will be included in our response.

The fact that you have elected to exercise these rights will have no adverse effect on the nature of our Services to you, including processing fees.

CHANGES TO OUR PRIVACY POLICY

It is our policy to post any changes we make to our Privacy Policy on this page, with a notice that the Privacy Policy has been updated on the Website’s home page; alternatively, we may send you an email if you have provided us with an email address. The date the Privacy Policy was last revised is identified at the top of the page. 13. FOR CALIFORNIA VISITORS ONLY: YOUR CALIFORNIA PRIVACY RIGHTS.

California residents who provide personal information in obtaining products or services for personal, family, or household use are entitled to request and obtain from us once a calendar year information about the customer information we shared with third parties for their own direct marketing purposes, including the categories of information and the names and addresses of those businesses with which we have shared such information. As discussed elsewhere in this Privacy Policy, we do not currently share the personal information of California residents with third parties for their own direct marketing purposes. We do not and will not sell your personal information.

14. MINORS UNDER 18 IN CALIFORNIA

Minors under 18 years of age in California may have the Personal Information that they provide to us through the Website deleted by sending an email requesting deletion to support@Fehr.xx. Please note that, while we make reasonable efforts to comply with such requests, deletion of your personal information does not ensure complete and comprehensive removal of that data from all systems.
Some Internet browsers include the ability to transmit “Do Not Track” signals, which is a privacy preference that users can set in some web browsers, allowing users opt out of tracking by websites and online services. Since uniform standards for “Do Not Track” signals have not been adopted, Fehr does not process or respond to “Do Not Track” signals.

Your personal information will be processed in the US (which may have less stringent data privacy laws compared to those in your country of residence) and we also transfer your personal information to the recipients described in this Privacy Policy.
